Glitch with AOL Mail

So far, only bought for AOL and having issue...whenever ANYTHING is done, it opens a web screen and switches to safari. When I go back in, locks me out again. Therefore, reading an email and responding can take up to 6 "openings" of the app. Even refresh transfers me to a blank safari page only to lock me out again. Must be something easier.

For the positive side, the security is good as a password is required each time access is necessary.
